Mapping Network Drives
Students should map to 3 network drives from their machines. These drives offer you secure storage for your SOM work.
Please view the appropriate video below that applies to the Operating System you use in order to guide you on mapping the drives.
Otherwise please follow these steps:
NOTE: Replace the word NetID in the share names below with your Yale Net ID. For example, type in \\bass\NetID$ as \\bass\abc4$ where abc4 is your yale NetID. Note also that the $ at the end is required and indicates a hidden share.
- x:\\bass\NetID$
- Click on the Start Button
- Right Click on Computer
- Choose Map Network Drive
- For Drive, choose x
- For Folder, type \\bass\NetID$
- When screen pops up, type your NetID (yale\NetID) and Password
- Click Finish
- v:\\rabbit\NetID$
- Click on the Start Button
- Right Click on Computer
- Choose Map Network Drive
- For Drive, choose v
- For Folder, type \\rabbit\NetID$
- When screen pops up, type your NetID (yale\NetID) and Password
- Click Finish
- s:\\bass\sompool
- Click on the Start Button
- Right Click on Computer
- Choose Map Network Drive
- For Drive, choose s
- For Folder, type \\bass\sompool
- When screen pops up, type your NetID (yale\NetID) and Password
- Click Finish
